Swimming At Galilee Wonderland

We went swimming last Sunday and I was surprised how Kendrick enjoyed being in the water. He’s not so much into swimming but last Sunday was totally different, I guess he already outgrew his hatred towards water. I mean, he’s not scared of it,but swimming is not really his thing. Usually, whenever we go for a swim,he just stay on the side and play but lst Sunday, he stayed in the water longer than I expected and even told me he wanted to do a swimming lesson once we go back to US.

I told his dad and even him were very surprised,but I think he is now a big boy, :)

And since we went swimming last Sunday instead of buying the affordable dj stands that I saw two weekends ago, it is supposed to be for my nephew. This weekend is our schedule to pick it up.

Kids And Smoking

Talking to my boys about smoking is not that easy but it’s not as hard as I thought. When a friend who handed me a baccarat cigars as a homecoming present from his vacation,my eldest asked me what it is and I took the opportunity to explain him about smoking.

Neither my husband or I ever is a smoker but it doesn’t mean we do not know about it.I know sooner or later, they will learn or know about it,whether I like it or not,and I guess it is much better if they heard it first from us,their parents.

My Little Handyman

My eldest son love to fix things around the house. I usually called him whenever I needed something to get fix like lose screw or broken door knob. He love to watch his uncle fixing a broken folding crank handles and other things and just by simply watching he learned how to do it himself. He could repair his own bicycle by watching a guy fix it for the first time when there’s a problem with the break,he also know how to fix the chain when it goes wrong.I even asked him sometimes to fix the computer for me.

I guess it comes so natural because his dad is also a handyman who love working around the house during his day off.I hope he will keep doing it as he grow older because being DIY will surely help him in the future.

Kendrick love to watch Spongebob Squarepants,actually,we all do. We just love his positive attitude in life together with his witty ways of being happy inspite of whatever life throws as him. Watching him is one of our guilty pleasure and it is also another things that the three of us likes.

That’s why when we found out that the local mall’s theme for the summer is the Bikini bottom,we did not hesitate to go and visit the exhibit and of course to have his picture taken with his favorite characters.

Garden Gazebo

Spring time finally arrived and as always, there’s gonna be a lot of backyard barbecue party around the neighborhood. My bro-in-law,already took their garden gazebos from the storage and pretty soon, their swimming pool will be filled with water as well.

The boys are so looking forward to spend their summer in US we already make a lot of plans of what we are going to do and I hope and pray that this year, will be able to do so.

Camping Season

Summer season is finally here and it means long daylight to spend more time outdoor,either playing, outing,or ,our most favorite,campimg. As of this writing, my nephews and niece are on their way to a campsite together with the other youth within the neighborhood. It was organized by the local church in our village. I wish for Patrick to join too but he is too young because they only allowed thirteen years old above to join. On the other hand,there’s a kiddie camp coming and he will join for sure since he already asked me to buy him a back packing sleeping bags.

Now, while the kids are busy with so many activities. I think it’s time for me to do something else to keep myself busy as well. :)

A Day At The Children’s Playground

This is actually a second time for Kendrick to visit the Children’s Playground in Luneta. We went there the first time a few months back with Patrick. But since that visit was an impromptou and not even a part of our plan that day, I have no camera with me. Then me and him had a chance to visit it again last month and this time, since we just went to another event, I have a camera on hand to captured all his happy smiles while playing.

Patrick was not with us that time because most often than not, he is not interested to join us for any event at all,but he did asked me to check the mixtrack pro here that he wanted to buy instead. Unlike Kendrick, who doesn’t really care at all as long as he is with me,he’ll be fine.

Kendrick’s New Puzzle

This is another one of those so many long overdue post o f mine. When Kendrick and I went to Puzzle Mansion more than a month ago, I bought him a 1,000 pieces puzzle from a souvenir shop and have the owner/Guiness Book Of World Record holder signed the box of his new puzzle. (It was the puzzle I was talking about from my previous post)

He was so excited he can’t wait until we get home to start doing it because that night,at our hotel room,he already started working on it.And so far,after more than a month of working on it, not religiously, mind you, he already solved at least more than half of it.

He said he will try to finish it within this week which I do not doubt at all. I’ve seen him finish a 500 pieces of puzzle before and I observed his focus and dedication and it’s reason why I don’t mind spending money to support his hobby.And when Patrick found out I bought this for Kendrick, he took the opportunity to ask me to buy him the speaker stands that he’s been wanting for a long time,and of course, I did bought it for him. :)

His Happy Face

Kendrick is showing his happy faces here,not only because he got a new puzzle two weeks ago,but also,I bought him a new box cutter for his latest craft project. Yes, he love to create a craft, it doesn’t matter what kind, as long as he saw it on his favorite craft show, he’ll definitely ask me to help him buy the stuff for it,which I don’t really mind as long as I know he’s learning from it and with his cute face, who could say no to that? :D
